Partners Leo Butera and Marc Goldstein cut the ribbon to officially open their third Capital Region Smashburger location in Shoprite Plaza, 2309 Nott Street, Niskayuna. Joining them for the celebration were local officials, staff, and Chamber Ambassadors.
“Schenectady County is in a great position right now with the continuing renaissance of downtown, the buzz of the new Rivers Casino. That along with the overall optimism we felt from everyone had us targeting this area right from the start”, stated Butera. “We understand that as a fairly new concept restaurant we need to expand our brand recognition of Smashburger here in upstate New York. In order to do that we have decided to open in key locations that will provide us with exposure to both the daytime populations of working people and to larger residential bases. This location does that for us” he added.
“We serve hand-crafted 100% certified Angus beef burgers that are smashed , seared and seasoned on the grill to juicy perfection for every individual order. Our service model gives our guests the feel of a sit down restaurant complete with a real fork and knife and your food delivered to your table. We also feature hand spun Haagen Daz milkshakes and an array of signature sides. We even have online ordering with the ability to choose your pickup time. You can even order days ahead of time so that your order is ready to go upon your arrival” added Butera.
Smashburger is open seven days a week from 10am to 10pm.
