Sara Learning Global (SLG) is pleased to share that the second 2026 meeting of the Subcommittee on Capacity Building for the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy in Agriculture, under the PAGE Thailand project, was successfully held on June 23 2026.
As the implementing consulting organization, SLG presented key updates on the Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) for five target groups, including government officers, U2T/AIC trainers and networks, project managers, policy-support personnel, and farmer/SME mentors.
The meeting also reviewed the draft BCG Training of Trainers (ToT) curriculum, consisting of eight modules covering policy orientation, green business, smart agriculture, finance, entrepreneurship, environmental opportunities, leadership, adaptability, networking, and evaluation.
Key training arrangements were also discussed, including a nine-day training programme delivered in three sessions, with participation from 100 on-site and 500 online participants. Proposed venues include Pak Chong, Chiang Mai, and potential sites in Kanchanaburi and Trang. Both online and on-site participants will engage simultaneously, with attendance tracking through QR codes or Google Forms and auto-generated certificates based on completion criteria.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Narit Boonchai, Deputy Director-General, Cooperative Promotion Department, with contributions from Ms. Suwimol Wattanawiroon, UNIDO, Dr. Akbar Abbas Bangash, and Dr. Sayan Kaennakham from SLG. The session brought together 35 participants from around 25 government organizations, reflecting strong multi-stakeholder collaboration toward strengthening BCG capacity in Thailand’s agriculture sector.
