Students ranging from future chefs to future mechanics will lead the Capital Region BOCES Career and Technical School Schoharie campus SkillsUSA chapter for the 2018-19 school year.
During a ceremony watched by a packed room of parents, friends and school officials, students from across the Schoharie County-region were sworn into their SkillsUSA offices Wednesday evening.
Capital Region BOCES morning officers, their program and home school district are as follows:
- Emily Elsis, Middleburgh, construction/heavy equipment, co-president
- Alexia Torres, Cobleskill-Richmondville, culinary, co-president
- Ian Letko, Cobleskill-Richmondville, construction/heavy equipment, vice president
- Erica Galli, Cobleskill-Richmondville, auto trades, treasurer
- Selena Garreau, Cobleskill-Richmondville, auto trades, secretary
- Thomas Crescimanno, Middleburgh, criminal justice, parliamentarian
- Isidro Santiago, Cobleskill-Richmondville, culinary, historian
- Laura Walters, Duanesburg, culinary, photographer
