Simmons Receives Largest Machine Order in Company History

Simmons Machine Tool Corporation is proud to announce a record machine order received early this year. The contract, which is valued at nearly $14 million dollars, is the single largest machine order in Simmons’ history. All of the machines are wheel reprofiling machines, which maintain the wheel sets of rail vehicles and contribute to their safe and more efficient operation. This historic order includes five new Stanray® TN-84C Wheel Truing Machines, a new Stanray M3 Underfloor Wheel Truing Machine, and upgrades to four of existing Stanray TN-84Cs.
