Simmons Capital Group (SCG), a financial planning firm located in Halfmoon, NY, is pleased to welcome Christine Somers as Director of Marketing and Client Services. Christine will be a key player on the client partnership team and a brand ambassador for Simmons. She will manage all aspects of marketing and proactively network across the market, creating new opportunities for the firm. Through trusted, strategic relationships, she will help to expand Simmons’ footprint and client experience.

Prior to joining Simmons Capital Group, Christine spent the last seven years as Director of Marketing and Business Development at Community Resource Federal Credit Union where she was responsible for marketing, communications, and financial education. While at Community Resource, Christine was the winner of four prestigious credit union marketing awards: Dora Maxwell Award, Louise Herring Award, and the Desjardin Youth and Adult Awards. Before joining Community Resource, Christine spent several years at Hudson River Community Credit Union and Time Warner Cable in the marketing department providing marketing, education, and community development. Christine received her BA in Public Communications from the College of St. Rose, Albany.
