Senior Environmental Scientist Joins Chazen

The Chazen Companies is pleased to welcome David MacDougall, CWB® to Chazen’s environmental services team as senior environmental scientist.

MacDougall resides in Cobleskill and has over 15 years of experience. Prior to joining Chazen, he served as a lead biologist/wetland specialist for Kleinfelder in Fishkill and as an environmental group manager for Ingalls & Associates, LLP in Schenectady. He is Chazen’s resident “Turtle Expert” and has written many reports, presentations, and a book on various environmental topics such as Bog Turtles, reptile and amphibian species, Karner blue butterflies and habitat suitability.

MacDougall received his Bachelor’s of Technology degree from the State University of New York at Cobleskill in Cobleskill. He received a Master’s of Science degree in Environmental Studies and Conservation Biology from Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vt.

“Dave will be responsible for the ecological and wetland related aspects of projects as well as client relations and proposals,” said Barbara Beall, PWS, LEED® AP, principal, director, natural resources services, The Chazen Companies. “Dave’s vast environmental experience and genuine interest in his work will be a valuable addition to our environmental services team.
