SEFCU Celebrates Grand Opening of Rotterdam branch

SEFCU, one of the largest credit unions in upstate New York, opened a new branch in the Via Port Rotterdam (former Rotterdam Square Mall) at 93 W. Campbell Road, Schenectady. This brings the credit union’s branch total to 51 with locations in the Capital Region, Binghamton, Buffalo, and Syracuse.

Members banking at this branch can take advantage of new Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) technology which allows individuals to conduct banking transactions using a centrally located offsite teller in a real-time video/audio interaction. SEFCU staff will be available onsite during branch hours to assist with loan applications, consultations, and other banking questions.

Grand opening festivities included a grand prize drawing for a $500 Mastercard® Gift Card. A live remote with WRVE’s Randy McCarten will be held on Friday, October 12 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Attendees can enjoy refreshments from Chipmunk Coffee, take a picture in the SEFCU Selfie Station, and compete in the coin stacking challenge.

Lobby hours for the branch are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
