Schenectady Nursery Elects Officers / Announce Board Positions

The Schenectady Day Nursery (SDN) Board of Managers has re-elected Amy Herter Robinson as President. Robinson is a Partner at the law office, Higgins, Roberts & Suprunowicz, P.C.  The in-coming Vice President is Connie D’Amato, Senior Relationship Manager, M&T Bank. Continuing as officers are Treasurer, Lisa Malone, Logistics Readiness Officer, New York Air National Guard; and Secretary, Kim Speck, Director-Talent Acquisition and HR Systems, MVP Health Care.

​New to the Board are Dawn Neville, Project Manager at the Creative Advantage, Matthew Nowak, Higgins, Roberts & Suprunowicz, P.C., and Joyce Newkirk, Empire State Aero Sciences Museum.

Continuing on the SDN Board are  Kristen Caschera, Development Office, Siena College; Larry Cioffi, Executive / Consultant, Jane N. Golub, Golub Corporation/Price Chopper/Market 32, Marion “Jet” Jackson, Retired, Jackson’s Outdoor Sales Inc.; Eli Mc Nett, City of Schenectady Fire Department and Community Liaison  officer for New York State Assembly member Phil Steck; Peggy O’Connor, Schenectady County Public Health Services; Alisha I. Roberts, Pharmacist, Golub Corporation/Price Chopper/Market 32; Jim Ruggiero, Owner of Justin Electrical Inc.; Patricia A. Skinner, Retired Executive Director, Capital District Child Care Council; and Anne D. Skrebutenas, Early Childhood Educator and Board member Early Care & Learning Council.

Miriam Cajuste, Schenectady County, Affirmative Action Officer; Katelyn Galbraith,​Trustco Bank; and John White, Senior Client Relations Executive, ONEGROUP Schenectady Insuring Agency are retiring from the board.

Diane Fisher, a career educator who has served SDN for over 25 years, continues as Executive Director.
