Please join Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County for its annual Build-A-Bash on Thursday, September 29 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Schenectady Armory to celebrate its 50th home under construction and plan for the next 50. With the theme, Play it Forward, this one-of-a-kind event has something for everyone and will bring out the youthful thrill of competition in everyone. Masters of Ceremonies, Assemblymembers Angelo Santabarbara and Phil Steck will set the stage as teams gear up for the Tug-of-War Team Challenge to see who can claim the title of champion. There will also be the return of Hammerschlagen for those ready to take on the skill and precision of this fan favorite from last year, as well as corn hole and disc golf.
A variety of culinary delights will be provided by many of local restaurants in addition to a cash bar. Dress is casual and can include your favorite sports team gear.
