Schenectady County Public Library Author Visit: B.A. Shapiro

The Schenectady Public Library will host national bestselling author B.A. Shapiro on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the McChesney Room of the Central Library, 99 Clinton Street.

B.A. Shapiro brilliantly captured the world of art theft and forgery in her critically-acclaimed New York Times bestselling novel, The Art Forger. Shapiro’s The Muralist, a national bestseller, is an equally captivating story about the birth of Abstract Expressionism set against the backdrop of the Depression and the eve of World War II. B.A. Shapiro, as the author of seven novels, has taught sociology at Tufts University and creative writing at Northeastern University. She lives in Boston with her husband, Dan, and their dog, Sagan.

The Art Forger and The Muralist can be purchased at The Open Door Bookstore prior to the author visit. Books will also be available for purchase and signing at the event.
