May 9, 2019Schenectady ARC Hosts their Third Annual Food Truck Event “Electric City Trucks, Taps, Corks and Forks” in Downtown Schenectady on May 18
“Electric City Trucks, Taps, Corks and Forks” will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 in downtown Schenectady at the Liberty-Broadway parking lot from 12 noon to 4 p.m. This is the third year for this community/family-friendly event featuring food truck vendors, specialty food vendors, craft brews and beverages.
Admission to the event is free. This will be Schenectady ARC’s primary fundraising event for 2019, and will provide funding for technology for the individuals the agency supports in its day programs, 21 residential homes and the many “without walls” community based programs offered.
There will be a vendor competition with guest judges to select “Best Of” awards and an overall 1^st place winner. Live music will be provided by Gordon St. and Grand Central Station. There will also be a /Kids Activity Zone/ with inflatables, face painting, games and prizes, a mobile video game truck and more. In addition, Schenectady ARC’s Horticulture Center will present a plant sale.
Participating food trucks and specialty vendors include: Flavors of Lebanon, The Hungry Traveler, Capital Q, Curvy Girls, Buena Comida, Rivers Casino, The Wagon Train, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Mad Jack Brewery, Springbrook Hill Farms Distillery, Awestruck Hard Cider and Helderberg Meadworks.
This year’s presenting sponsors are Rose & Kiernan, Inc. and Trustco Bank.
