Happy Sunday, friends! As we look forward to warmer weather this Spring, we wanted to take this chance to say hello and let you know our favorite day of the year is exactly three months from today! For the first time ever, 518 Day is expanding to two full days: Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18.
Along with bringing together thousands of volunteers at community service projects that support United Way of the Greater Capital Region’s nonprofit partners, we’re hosting the is the first ever online, regional fundraiser on May 18. 518 Day of Giving harnesses the power of community to connect nonprofit organizations with new and existing donors, while raising funds and awareness for the nonprofit community.
Collectively, participating nonprofits hope to raise $518,000 to continue to provide vital supports and services throughout the Capital Region and beyond.
