June 25, 2015Sage’s Accounting Degree Program Ranked in the Top 100
ALBANY & TROY, NY – The Sage Colleges is proud to announce that its accounting (Bachelor of Science) degree program was named as one of the top 100 most affordable programs among small colleges in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Sage, which was ranked 60 was one of only four schools in New York State to receive the top 100 distinction from Online-Accounting Degrees.net.
“We are honored to receive this designation,” said Kimberly Fredericks, Associate Dean of the School of Management and Chair of graduate programs. “At Sage we recognize the importance of value and providing an affordable quality education. In addition to preparing our students for careers in professional accountancy, budget analysis, auditing, or fiscal analysis, we are also teaching them be creative and critical thinkers who can positively impact their communities by being innovative problem solvers and forward-thinking entrepreneurs.”
The ranking was based on the following: Accreditation – Accredited institutions offering Bachelor degrees in Accounting, Accounting and Business/Management, and Accounting and Finance. Undergraduate Student Enrollment – Schools with a population of 3,000 or fewer students. Applicant Admittance Rate – Schools that admit 60% or fewer applicants. Average Net Price – From the 165 schools meeting the above criteria, Online Accounting Degrees.net selected the 100 schools with the lowest average net price for the 2012-2013 school year, and ordered them 100-1, with the top school being the one with the lowest net price.
