S & B Staffing, Sargent & Blais Personnel, announced the sale of their business to Massachusetts based HW Staffing Solutions. S & B Staffing was established in 1989 and has serviced hundreds of businesses in the Capital District providing Temporary, Temp-to-Hire and Direct hire staffing. Through the years they have employed thousands of Greater Capital District residents in administrative and management positions.
“We’ve thoroughly enjoyed the relationships we have built with our clients and our candidates over these past 26 years” stated company President, Patricia Blais. She and Vice President, Connie Sargent, were ready to move on and found that HW Staffing Solutions would continue the business with the same high quality of customer service that has allowed the local firm to grow tremendously over the years.
Under the umbrella of HW, the company will have the opportunity to expand to New England and several other parts of the country with offices that are currently serviced by HW Staffing Solutions. “The fact that the local management and staff will stay in place, and the company will continue with no major changes to its structure was a plus” Pat Blais stated. The owners will continue to stay involved in the many non-profit organizations that they have been connected to through the business.
The company was sold for an undisclosed amount.
