November 5, 2019Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady – Cookie Decorating Event
Guests can learn how to decorate holiday cookies just like a professional with local Instagram sensation Kelly, of Kelly’s Cookies, at the Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady Event Center on Saturday, December 21. Two cookie decorating sessions are available – one from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and the other from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
Tickets are $65 and available now at riverscasinoandresort.com, tickets.proctors.org or the Proctors Theater Box Office in Schenectady. Space is limited with each class having a maximum capacity of only 50 guests. Recommended for ages 12+ and no experience is necessary. A cash bar will also be available.
Each guest will be able to create 6 stunning holiday themed cookies during their session that they can bring home with them to impress friends and family. Guests will also receive a goodie bag containing decorating tools, basic sugar cookie and Royal Icing recipes, and a list of online resources with informational tutorials and cookie decorating vendors.
Kelly will teach guests her amazing techniques and tips and tricks for cookie decorating success as she guides them along step-by-step throughout the session. She will also cover essential cookie decorating tools, Royal Icing consistency for outlining and flooding, wet-on-wet decorating, using dimension in icing, Royal Icing transfers and more.
