Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady announced today a “Gold Rush” in the month of November, with special events, promotions and giveaways all month long.
The $25,000 Go for Gold Drawings will give guests a chance to win cash or pure gold. Guests will earn points all month long, with point multipliers on Wednesdays, leading up to drawings on Saturday, December 2, every hour from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. More than 20 winners will be selected to win free slot play, match play, cash or pure gold, and one lucky winner will walk away with 10 oz. of gold or $10,000 in cash.
In addition to the Go for Gold promotion, every single day in the month of November, guests will have a chance to participate in the Gold Rush Daily Drawings. Guests can earn points all month to purchase peel and win tickets for a chance to win instant prizes, daily drawing entries or collect letters throughout the month spell out “Rivers Casino” to win a 10 oz. gold bar.

Gaming Promotions and Giveaways
$15,000 Black Friday Drawings – On Friday, November 24, every hour from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Rush Rewards members will have the chance to win $300 in free slot play, plus if present, a $200 Macy’s gift card. At 9:00 p.m., one lucky winner will win $5,000 in cash.
Shop ‘Til You Drop Hot Seats – On Saturday, November 4 and 18, every hour from noon to 8:00 p.m. three guests will be selected for the chance to win either a $100 Macy’s, Hewitt’s, Price Chopper or Sunoco gift card.
Jackpot Winner Drawings – Every Rush Rewards member who hits a jackpot while playing slots or video poker from October 29 through November 24 will receive an entry ticket to be placed in a drawing drum. On November 25, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., four winners will be randomly chosen to win $250 in free slot play and if present, their prize will double. At 8:00 p.m. two lucky winners will receive their highest jackpot matched up to $5,000 cash.
$5,000 Blackjack Tournament – On Thursday, November 16 and 30 players can purchase an entry into the tournament for 1,000 points per day. The tournament will begin with 10 Blackjack hands in the preliminary round, the top seven overall scores will move into the final round. Registration will open at 1:00 p.m., with rounds running from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. The top seven tournament finalists will share $5,000 in prizes with the winner taking home $2,000 cash.

Rivers Thanksgiving Feast – The public is invited to enjoy a full, delicious Thanksgiving meal at a great price at Rivers Casino this holiday. This $15.00, three-course dinner – including choice of hand-carved turkey or country-carved ham – will be held from noon to 8:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day in the Rivers Event Center, and will be open to all ages. Reservations are encouraged.
Rivers Grand Buffet – On Tuesday, November 7 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. the public is invited to a premiere showcase of culinary creations for $15.99 ($14.99 for Rush Rewards members). Stations include American, Italian, Seafood, the Grand Buffet Salad Bar and a Dessert Station.
Senior Days – Young at Heart – On Mondays from 6:00 a.m. to midnight in November, Rush Rewards members over the age of 55 will receive free valet parkingand a two times points multiplier at the promotional kiosks.Guests can also enjoy an all-you-can-eat soup and salad lunch special for $9.99 at Duke’s from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and entertainment at Van Slyck’s from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Weekend Brunch at Dukes Chophouse – Dukes Chophouse will be serving brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Guests will be treated to decadent and indulgent menu items, as well as a fully-loaded Bloody Mary bar. Events & Entertainment
Zac Brown Tribute Band – The public is invited to a special performance by the Zac Brown Tribute Band on Saturday, November 18 in the Rivers Event Center. Doors at 7:00 p.m., followed by the concert at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $10, available through the Proctors box office and at tickets.proctors.org. Rush Rewards members can collect one complimentary ticket at the Rush Rewards Center while they last.
Silent Disco in Van Slyck’s – On Wednesday, November 22 from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. dance the night away to Soul, Motown, and/or modern music at a silent disco in Van Slyck’s. Guests will don wireless headphones and select their favorite DJ, then hit the dance floor.
Sunday and Monday Night Football – Guests can enjoy football on Sundays and Mondays in November at Van Slyck’s. Football specials will begin one hour before kick-off and will include $1 hot dogs, $2 domestic pints, $3 select imports and $2 mimosas.
There is no cost to join Rush Rewards, and members earn points for their slot play and table game play by inserting their card into the slot machine or presenting it to table games dealers before starting the game. The more points earned, the more reward benefits members will receive. These include free play, food offers, entries into promotional drawings, discounted room rates, valet parking, personalized casino host services and much more. New Rush Rewards members can play a kiosk game upon signup for a chance to win up to $1,000 in free slot play.
