A new business in Schenectady called Cannabicity is here to bring “a higher state of being” to its enthusiastic customers. Diagnosed with a rare neurological and autoimmune disorder, founder Barbara Vaughn turned to CBD and THC to manage her symptoms, discovering firsthand the transformative benefits of cannabis. This woman-owned, flagship dispensary is a modern-designed retail destination. Cannabicity helps each customer find the right product for their needs and also supports local charitable organizations. A recent ribbon cutting was held for the grand opening of the new dispensary, with Mayor Gary McCarthy joining staff and volunteers from the Chamber for the occasion.
