Resources for Special Needs Children

Crossroads Center for Children, located in Rotterdam, NY, serves the community with a school and a therapy clinic.  Crossroads specializes in services for children on the autism spectrum, as well as children with other special needs.  The preschool classrooms are integrated for all children.  Crossroads serves children and families all over the Capital Region.  Students range in age from 2-12.  Vicki Ramotar, MSED, Resource Development, will be the guest speaker at Niskayuna Rotary on May 23rd.  Vicki will describe Crossroads, including its mission, philosophy and history, and ways for the community to help with this special mission.  Readers who not able to attend this meeting can call the school (518-280-0083), or visit the website for more information.

Niskayuna Rotary looks forward to welcoming the public to their meetings, every Tuesday morning, 7:15 AM to 8:15 AM at the Blue Ribbon Restaurant & Bakery, 1801 State St (Route 5).  Individuals who have interacted with people with autism or special needs are especially encouraged to attend on May 23rd.
