In 1827, a member of the Cherry Hill family slipped away with a hired hand for a night of illicit passion at Hill’s Tavern. Join that couple–Elsie Whipple and Jesse Strang–at their old stomping grounds, now the Tailored Tea in Latham, NY. Have a drink and a bite with fellow tavern-goers, explore the historic tavern, and learn about the tryst that led to…murder!
The evening will include live music, tea sandwiches, mini desserts, and libations for teetotalers and imbibers alike. Let “Mr. Hill” pour you a cup or a glass of your choosing on this historic evening at his old tavern!
Tickets are $50 ($40 for members of Historic Cherry Hill). The event will take place Friday, September 15 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Tailored Tea, 1010 Troy Schenectady Road, Latham, NY 12110.
