Recovery Sports Grill Launches “Lemonade for Livy” Fundraiser to Benefit Local Epilepsy Foundation

Recovery Sports Grill has joined the Epilepsy Foundation’s summer awareness and fundraising campaign called “Lemonade for Livy.”  The national campaign is inspired by 12-year-old Olivia Scheinman (Livy) who has been plagued by the damaging effects of epilepsy since birth. Her family started a neighborhood lemonade stand to raise money in an effort to help find a cure.  The event typically occurs in the last weekend of July when people are encouraged to set up a stand or hold an event to raise money.  This year, Recovery Sports Grill is running the campaign in their eight Capital Region locations from now through Labor Day, and will donate $1.00 for every lemonade beverage sold to the Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York.  Participating Recovery Sports Grill locations include:  Albany, Amsterdam, East Greenbush, Guilderland, Malta, Queensbury, Rotterdam, and Troy.  Money raised will support local services for the more than 45,000 people living with epilepsy in our community.
