March 15, 2022Recovery Sports Grill In Troy Completes Renovation
The Chamber was happy to be a part of the ceremonial ribbon cutting for the Recovery Sports Grill in Troy. The restaurant is in the Hilton Garden Inn on Hoosick Street. The Chamber was joined by the Rensselaer County Chamber, Ambassadors, local elected officials, business professionals and many involved with the project.
Just in time for March Hoops the Recovery Sports Grill-Troy, located at 235 Hoosick St in the Hilton Garden Inn hotel, has undergone a complete renovation featuring the next generation from the brand. While incorporating a new comfortable and modern look the restaurant still holds true to its roots with local sports memorabilia featured throughout.
Now featured is an Esports Lounge where guests can play the latest Xbox and Playstation counsels. Local gaming tournaments are being held at the lounge in collaboration with local company Claim to Fame Entertainment. An innovation for the brand and a first in the Capital Region, the company sees great potential for this space. “We can host tournaments, stream games live and provide an area for the Esports community to call home. Working with our partners in Esports we will continue to grow the events and capabilities of this new space. The gaming community has really taken to it so far. We are happy to be somewhere athletes and gamers can call home,” says Thomas Gabriel, Director of Business Development with BBL Hospitality.
The restaurant now has the latest in televisions and sound. Local student athletes line the walls, something that is true in all locations. Heavily featured in Troy is the RPI athletics program, which has its campus just a few blocks away. The Troy restaurant was one of the first locations for Recovery Sports Grill, a Capital Region locally grown chain, now spanning up and down the East Coast with 10 locations.

The Recovery Sports Grill keeps high quality, in house prepared food a value. Being part of the communities they are in is also a staple for the brand. Each year the company donates tens of thousands of dollars back to local nonprofits and youth sports organizations.
All ribbon cuttings are sponsored by Saratoga National Bank and Trust Company.
