Prince Named Athletic Communications Assistant

The Siena College athletic department announces the hiring of Catherine Prince as the new athletic communications assistant. The Long Island native comes to Siena after working at the City College of New York.

“I’m very excited to be a part of the Siena Saints community,” Prince stated. “I am ready to take on this role and represent Siena College and the athletic department to the best of my ability.”

At CCNY, Prince served as the assistant athletic director of communications and sports information. She served as the primary contact for all 22 varsity sports.

Before arriving at CCNY, Prince worked as a media relations assistant at Murray State. She served as the main contact for women’s volleyball, cross country, women’s basketball, track & field and men’s & women’s tennis. She helped host the 2014 Ohio Valley Conference Volleyball Tournament as well as the National Invitational Tournament for men’s basketball.

Prince served in the Florida State sports information department while she earned her Masters of Science in Sport Management. While at FSU, Prince was in charge of office work as well as being part of game day staff for women’s soccer, football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and baseball.

Prince received her Bachelor of Science in Sport Management in May of 2013 from Lasell College in Newton, Massachusetts. This is where she began her professional collegiate athletics career at as a game operations and sports information student staff member.
