Pierro, Connor & Associates, LLC Joins Forces with Massachusetts Law Firm

Robert Mascali

New York and Massachusetts residents have greater legal expertise available now that Pierro, Connor & Associates has expanded its practice area into the Bay State.

Beginning in September 2017, the Pierro firm, specializing in estate planning, elder law, tax and business succession planning, has established an ‘of counsel’ agreement with the Bourget Law Group, with offices in Falmouth and Hyannis in Cape Cod. Robert Mascali, a former Pierro Law attorney who is licensed to practice in both New York and Massachusetts, relocated to the Cape and joined the Bourget Law Group to meet client needs in both states. Mascali was previously the Managing Attorney for the New York Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (now the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities).

The business deal widens the practice region of Pierro, Connor & Associates to nine offices in four states, including Albany, New York City, Utica, Hudson, Lake Placid, Long Island, Hackensack, NJ and Clearwater, FL. The firm also serves clients in areas of high end tax and estate planning, estate litigation, long-term care and special needs planning.

“The additions of Bourget Law Group and Bob Mascali offer extraordinary benefits to clients in both states who are seeking a deep range of legal skills,” said Louis W. Pierro, Founding Partner of Pierro, Connor & Associates. “We already serve the ‘snowbirds’ who divide their time between New York, New Jersey and Florida. Now, we’re welcoming Massachusetts residents and New Yorkers with homes on the Cape to take advantage of our firm’s combined expertise.”

Capital Region residents may be familiar with Mascali from his years co-hosting the weekly WGY show, Life Happens Radio. Now in its seventh year, attorneys at Pierro, Connor & Associates team up with insurance experts at New York Long-Term Care Brokers on the live call-in show, airing Saturdays from 11am-12pm.
