Phillips Lytle Opens New Albany Office, Launching Modern Workplace in Wolf Road Corridor

Phillips Lytle LLP announced the launch of its new Albany office located at 3 Winners Circle in the bustling Wolf Road corridor. The firm’s move reflects its ongoing commitment to providing a modern, collaborative work environment that empowers attorneys and staff to deliver the highest level of client service. The new office’s design was shaped by employee input and tailored to meet the unique needs of attorneys, staff, clients and community partners.

“Our new Albany office represents a significant milestone in Phillips Lytle’s evolution,” said Jeffrey B. Schwartz, Albany Office Leader for Phillips Lytle. “We have meticulously curated this space to embody our firm’s values of collaboration, innovation, employee well-being and exceptional client service. By offering a modern and efficient work environment, we aim to attract and retain top legal talent — which is a top priority in launching this new office. We’re determined to keep growing our workforce and bringing in skilled attorneys who understand the importance of building trusted relationships and providing expert-level advisement to our clients facing complex challenges.”

Phillips Lytle’s new space embraces a more collaborative approach and ergonomic design.  The uniform offices feature glass walls that allow natural light to permeate throughout the space and are furnished with standing desks and comfort-adjustable chairs. Mr. Schwartz and Kirk R. Rossi, Phillips Lytle Chief Operating Officer, engaged the firm’s employees to gain their input and hear what mattered to them in an office space. The learnings they gathered then directly influenced the design of the new work environment.

The new 5,300-square-foot office is strategically located in the Capital Region’s Wolf Road corridor, offering convenient access to Albany International Airport, the NYS Thruway and centers of population and commerce throughout the region — an added benefit for a firm with clients spread across the region and a network of offices in multiple cities. The location also boasts proximity to The Crossings of Colonie, providing employees with ample opportunities for outdoor recreation and relaxation.

“Our new Albany office prioritizes the well-being and productivity of all our attorneys and staff,” said Douglas W. Dimitroff, Phillips Lytle Managing Partner. “We believe this strategic investment in our physical spaces will enable us to better serve our clients and attract top talent in the Capital Region and across our market locations.”

The move to 3 Winners Circle was the result of a comprehensive search process led by Cresa’s Albany office, a leading commercial real estate firm. The building, which underwent an extensive renovation by The Rosenblum Companies in 2021, was chosen for its focus on tenant experience, building performance and sustainability.

“Phillips Lytle is a fantastic addition to 3 Winners Circle. We were excited to partner with the firm in designing and building out an engaging environment that will fuel their growth regionally and nationally,” said Seth Rosenblum, Principal of The Rosenblum Companies. “Conveniently located and surrounded by an outstanding array of walkable dining, shopping and community amenities, our Wolf Road properties continue to attract tenants that value in-person collaboration.
