October 20, 2017Peregrine Senior Living is Now Open in Colonie
The Chamber, along with its Ambassadors, local officials, staff, family and friends all helped open the new state of the art facility located at 5 South Family Drive in Colonie. The new facility has 68 rooms and is pet-friendly. It has some animal residents such as koi, rabbits, birds and even a pig. In addition to the therapy dogs that visit the residents periodically all of the animals are there to sooth and comfort the residents. The Peregrine Way is built around the recognition of three fundamental principles that are incorporated into the positive life and aging experience of each of us: a commitment to a renewal of the individual growth process, a deepening of the spiritual experience, and the furthering of one’s intellectual pursuits recognizing the value of lifelong learning.
