Park Avenue Confectionary, LLC & General Store Ribbon Cutting in Mechanicville

The Chamber had a sweet time attending the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for Park Avenue Confectionary, LLC & General Store, a greatly expanded candy store, gift shop and meeting space in downtown Mechanicville! LLC & General Store on your Grand Opening today! The kids enjoyed a special space called The Chocolate Lab, while we adults had tasty treats in the kitchen, and the store was filled with shoppers from all over the region.

The ribbon cutting was a joint event of the Mechanicville-Stillwater Chamber of Commerce and The Chamber of Southern Saratoga County, an affiliate of the Capital Region Chamber. Officials from all over the area took part in the celebration, including Senator Daphne Jordan, Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner, Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh, Mechanicville mayor Mike Butler, Supervisor Tom Richardson, Clifton Park Supervisor Phil Barrett, Halfmoon Deputy Supervisor Paul Hotaling and Business and Economic Development Committee leader Jeremy Connors, and Mechanicville Public Safety Commissioner Fred Hosley. Also present were representatives of CAPTAIN Community Human Services, the Mechanicville Area Community Services Center, Inc. , the Mechanicville District Public Library, the Clifton Park & Halfmoon EMS and the Mechanicville Police Department. Volunteers from both chambers were present including Mechanicville Chamber President Barbara Corsale and Vice President Roger Grout, Senior Vice President Pete Bardunias and volunteer Ambassadors from the Capital Region Chamber.
