Overit Promotes Shana Silverman to Chief Production Officer

Overit has announced the promotion of Shana Silverman to chief production officer (CPO). This role places Silverman on the agency’s executive team, which is now 60% female in a marketplace where women hold 23% of leadership posts at U.S. businesses (source).

In the role of CPO, Silverman is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day execution of all project activities and deliverables on behalf of Overit and its clients. She examines and increases production efficiency, manages the profitability of projects, manages production and client services personnel, and more. Previously, Silverman was the director of account management at Overit, a role in which she was responsible for client satisfaction and growth, managing and training the account services team, and communicating with the executive team on the company’s efficiency.

“I’m excited to join the executive team at Overit as CPO,” said Silverman. “Overit has grown exponentially over the past year by bringing in new clients and talent. In my new role, I will help to streamline how we service our clients and enhance how we produce top quality work on their behalf.”

Before joining Overit, Silverman was the director of digital strategy at Eight Oh Two Marketing, where she collaborated with the marketing and business development teams. This required her to use leadership skills to build strategic partnerships with the company’s clients. Prior to Eight Oh Two, she owned Imagine It Studios, a digital marketing company aimed at helping businesses emerge in the digital world. In addition, Silverman served in the United States Air Force as a linguist. Silverman holds a degree in theater design from Bennington College and a Master of Science degree in marketing.

Silverman strives to learn more and has a driving need to make everything work better, every day. Similar to Overit’s goal of creating top-quality media and design products in the most efficient and professional manner, Silverman’s goals parallel the agency.
