January 24, 2019Overit Announces Executive in Residence
Overit announced that Dan Lundquist has joined the higher education team as our Executive in Residence.
Lundquist brings decades of experience in enrollment management and financial aid to our existing team of creatives which boasts nearly 80 years of experience cumulatively. The team has worked with more than 50 colleges nationwide ranging from public to private, military to faith-based, two-year, four-year and graduate programs.
Dan Lundquist will add almost 40 years of successful leadership experience in diverse higher education settings. The last 25 years of his career were at the Vice President levels at Penn, Union College and The Sage Colleges.
“Our team collaborated with Dan as a client for several years and has been continually impressed by his strategic approach to enrollment management and his ability to drive growth,” said Overit COO Paul Fahey. “His background and expertise dovetails with our team’s focus, and we are thrilled to partner with him as we work to support our clients within the higher education field.”
“Overit has a phenomenal reputation and a seasoned team of creatives,” said Lundquist.
“I’m incredibly excited to work alongside their team in this role – to participate in the strategic planning process from the start and to work with them to grow enrollment and shape the ideal incoming class.”
On the heels of their Focus Group Facility announcement earlier this month, Overit now has access to some of the most strategic, accomplished and influential tools and talent in the industry, and the means to help solve some of the biggest obstacles facing colleges and universities today. Throughout the year, Overit will comprehensively survey students, parents, guidance counselors and HR recruiters in order to deliver the messages they want to receive, and institutions wish to send.
Lundquist is an honors graduate of Amherst College where he studied History and English. His graduate work includes a Masters in Higher Education Administration from the Harvard Education and Business Schools, and he began PhD studies with Drew Faust at Penn.
