OrthoNY Welcomes New Physician

Dr. Tom Jackson joins the Schenectady team Dr. Jackson

(ALBANY, NY) – OrthoNY is pleased to welcome Dr. Tom Jackson to the spine and back team as a pain management specialist. He has started seeing patients at the practice’s Schenectady and Latham locations.

Dr. Jackson received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, and completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Temple University Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with subspecialty certifications in pain medicine and sports medicine, and is also board-certified in electrodiagnostic medicine.

Since 2011, Dr. Jackson has practiced pain management at Carolinas Healthcare System, serving as a faculty member in addition to providing patient care. His prior medical experience includes East Greenwich Spine and Sport in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, and Tri-State Pain Institute in Erie, Pennsylvania.

“We are excited to welcome Dr. Jackson to our pain management team,” said Alan Okun, CEO. “He joins the eight physicians currently Saving Lifestyles in Schenectady, and 29 other physicians, with a team of 21 physician assistants and nurse practitioners, providing care at 11 locations from Albany to the Adirondacks.”
