The Sage Colleges is pleased to host Startup Grind Albany and entrepreneur Robert Manasier at the Opalka Gallery on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. The gallery is located on the Sage College of Albany campus at 140 New Scotland Avenue.
Startup Grind Albany is an interactive videocast focused on entrepreneurship. Each segment features an entrepreneur who has made their mark in his/her field. Manasier is the founder and CEO of In Focus Brands, a branded go-to-market acceleration firm, COO of Autonomy Distributors, a U.S. products export partner, and President of IFP Films, a multimedia, award-winning content creation studio. Manasier has been involved with over 100 startups as well as numerous turnarounds, buyouts and new market growth projects. He also created and developed the Diamond Point Co-Development Fund to assist intellectual property, services, products and new ideas to prove concept and/or get to market. He is an advocate for the growing economic need for a stronger public-private synergy for startups and the economy.
Visuals: Manasier will be showcasing one of his startup ventures, Semi-Lux, a mobile fashion unit. Sage School of Management students assisted with the concept and implementation of Semi-Lux. The mobile fashion unit will be open for tours and viewing.
