Mount Lebanon Volunteer Work Day
Saturday, June 13 ▪ 10 a.m.–1 p.m.

Join the Museum in preparing the North Family historic site for opening day! This work day will focus on cleaning up the North Family buildings – cleaning, painting, landscaping, etc. Participants are asked to wear appropriate clothes and gear such as gloves and boots. Coffee and pastries from Blueberry Hill Café in New Lebanon will be offered.

Shaker Country Picnic

Shaker Heritage Society ▪ Families ▪ Free Help us celebrate the barn centennial at the Shaker Country Picnic! Join us for an afternoon of family fun at the museum. Live music, featuring a performance by the Graham Tichy Band from 4-6pm, great food from Sweet Mama Mia Food Truck (available for purchase), games, tours, and other fun activities will take place on the grounds of the Society.

Behind the Scenes Tour: State Museum Shaker Collection Sunday, June 14, 1–2:30 p.m.
Meet in Main Lobby Adults and Children Free Pre-registration is required.
The State Museum’s collection of Shaker materials includes several thousand artifacts, only a small portion of which can be seen in the current exhibition. In this behind the scenes tour, visitors will see Shaker artifacts in the museum’s collection storage, and explore what made Shaker craftsmanship internationally admired.
