Northern Rivers Names Project Lead, Training Manager

Northern Rivers Family of Services announced that Tabetha Zostant has been named project manager for the organization and that Eric Nelson has been named training manager for the organization’s Sidney Albert Training & Research Institute (SATRI).

Zostant will work with the organization’s business development department to facilitate and coordinate projects and opportunities with community partners.

She joined the organization in 2008 as an assistant residential supervisor at Northern Rivers member agency Parsons Child & Family Center, and has also served as a clinical case manager at member agency Northeast Parent & Child Society and as a senior education specialist at the SUNY Research Foundation. In 2016 she was named SATRI Training Manager. She earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and psychology from Sacred Heart University.

As training manager, Nelson will be responsible for marketing, scheduling, outreach, curriculum development and management of trainings for SATRI, which serves both Northern Rivers’ 1,400 member workforce as well as school districts, human services agencies, and colleges statewide.

He joined the organization as a Bridges to Health (B2H) healthcare integrator at Northeast Parent & Child Society in 2011, rising to program coordinator in 2012. He previously served as a mental health assistant at Ellis Hospital.

Nelson earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology and his master’s degree in mental health counseling from the University at Albany.
