Northern Rivers Announces New Board Members, 2018 Officers

The Northern Rivers Family of Services board of directors elected its 2018 officers and welcomed Angela Dixon and Ferdinand Morales as new members at the December 6 meeting.

Returning officers are Kimberleigh Phelan, president, and Susan Evans, treasurer. New officers are Justin Priddle, vice president, and John Malone, secretary.

Dixon serves as the New York state Comptroller’s Office as deputy comptroller for human resources and administration, a position she has held since 2008. She previously was director of Development for Big Brothers Big Sisters USA in Philadelphia. She earned both her bachelor’s degree in political science and her MBA from the University at Albany.

Morales has worked for Maximus since 2008. He currently serves as vice president of Operations for New York State of Health, and previously served as director of Quality Assurance and project director of Operations for California Health Care Options. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.

“I am honored to continue to lead this important organization during a time of historic transformation,” said Phelan. “Angela and Ferdinand bring valuable expertise and knowledge to Northern Rivers, and we will be a stronger organization for their contributions.”
