Just in time for the holidays, Northeastern Fine Jewelry today announced that it has been selected by Hublot, the Swiss luxury watchmaker, as its exclusive retailer in Upstate New York. The Capital Region’s destination for fine jewelry for more than four decades, Northeastern Fine Jewelry will exclusively introduce Hublot beginning this December at its Albany location, 1575 Western Avenue, at the base of the Adirondack Northway.
Northeastern Fine Jewelry will carry a wide array of Hublot’s signature Swiss timepieces including: The Big Bang collection, featuring a porthole-style case, industrial aesthetic and visible screws on the bezel; Classic Fusion, offering a slimmer and more elegant profile; and the Spirit of Big Bang, with tonneau-shaped cases and skeletonized dials.

The Swiss watchmaker, founded in 1980, introduced the Art of Fusion with its first watch, which combined gold with a rubber strap in a case design inspired by a ship’s porthole (“hublot” in French). Its Art of Fusion’s philosophy blends traditional Swiss watch-making techniques with bold, innovative designs and unconventional materials.
In 2005, Hublot’s identity was strengthened with its Big Bang model, which attested to unrivaled ingenuity in terms of complexity, manufacture movements and state-of-the-art materials featuring carbon, titanium, ceramic and sapphire, developed to the extreme.
