December 1, 2016Northeast Ballet to Perform “The Nutcracker” This Weekend at Proctors
Northeast Ballet Company will perform its Annual “The Nutcracker” from December 2 thru December 4, 2016 at Proctors Theater in Schenectady. Enter a world of Christmas dreams to the joyous music of Tchaikovsky in this annual year-end favorite. Join the Sugar Plum Fairy, the heroic Nutcracker Prince and the evil Rat King in this whimsical celebration of the season, featuring special guest artists, Lauren Lovette and Gonzalo Garcia from New York City Ballet. Auditions took place on September 10, 2016 and 125 dancers were cast.
The Annual Nutcracker Tea will take place at the Hall of Springs in Saratoga on Sunday, November 20 at 11am and 3pm. The audience will enjoy an experience of a Traditional English Christmas Tea while seeing excerpts from the “Nutcracker Ballet” performed by the celebrated Northeast Ballet Company.
