October 27, 2016Northeast Ballet Gala to Honor Peter Semenza
The Northeast Ballet Company will celebrate 28 years of its annual Nutcracker performance at a gala event on December 2 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at Proctors.
Cocktails and hor d’oeuvres will be served in the balcony lobby, after which guests will be ushered to the stage for a magical evening with a live ballet performance featuring New York City Ballet dancers Loren Lovette and Gonzalo Garcia. Guests will have the unique opportunity to meet the guest artists while enjoying a gourmet dinner prepared by Angelo Mazzone and his culinary team.
This year’s event will honor Peter Semenza, President of The Northeast Ballet Company Board and community advocate for the past 25 years.
Under the direction of Darlene Myers, Northeast Ballet has been serving young dancers in the Capital Region for nearly three decades and is the resident ballet company for Proctors.
