Schenectady Community Home, Inc. dba Joan Nicole Prince Home is grateful for the generous $10,000.00 grant support from the Arnold Cogswell Health Fund of The Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region. This grant was accepted December 2019 and has supported the JNP Home during the COVID crisis.
The major goal of The Arnold Cogswell Health Fund is to make grants to facilitate the development of better health care in the Capital Region.
The Joan Nicole Prince Home provides a safe, comfortable, caring residence to terminally ill patients in need of a home during their final days. The awarded funds will allow ongoing end of life care to the terminally ill, support to their family members and friends, and provide educational programs with partner organizations, teaching future healthcare professionals compassionate end of life care.
