April 23, 2025New York Phoenix Basketball Team Return Home for Back-to-Back Games this Weekend
The New York Phoenix basketball team returns home this weekend for back-to-back games at Armory Studios NY in downtown Schenectady. The now 11-1 divisional leaders Phoenix will be taking on the Reading Rebels this Friday, April 25 and the Rochester Kingz on Saturday, April 26. Doors open at 6 p.m. with tipoff at 7 p.m. for both games.
This weekend’s back-to-back games follow a spectacular 114 – 105 road win against crosstown rivals the Albany Patroons last night, and the recent participation of NY Phoenix players Shadell Millinghaus and Arsenio Arrington at TBL All-Star Weekend in Frederick, MD April 18 & 19. During All-Star Weekend Millinghaus and Arrington, along with Albany Patroon Trahson Burrell, took home the inaugural 3v3 championship trophy, and Millinghaus was awarded the All-Star Game MVP.
Tickets for both games this weekend, individual games, season passes, and limited courtside seating are all available at nyphoenixbasketball.com/tickets. In honor of Phoenix coach Trevis Wyche’s birthday, the team is offering special discounted tickets for both games while supplies last! Simply enter the code BIRTHDAY20 at checkout to receive 20% off single game tickets. Tickets are also available at the door (credit or debit only).
Free parking, including ADA-accessible parking, is available for all Phoenix games. Other amenities include elevated VIP seating in The Zone, along with snacks, soft drinks, beer wine, and cocktails available in the Mess Hall. Empire State Events will provide in-game entertainment with DJ Romantics and DJ TSwag. Immediately following the game there will be a player meet and greet for photos and autographs.

The Phoenix is led by Head Coach and General Manager Trevis Wyche, a TBL All-Star and former Albany Patroons point guard, who guided his team to a National Championship. The talent filled roster includes TBL all-stars and exciting newcomers:

All Phoenix home games are at Armory Studios NY in Studio A, a 30,000-square-foot facility with a newly installed basketball court, seating for up to 2,000 spectators, and over 125 courtside seats for an immersive fan experience. The venue’s 90,000-square-foot layout allows for a variety of sports and entertainment events, including basketball tournaments, volleyball, pickleball, and soccer. The space also continues to serve as a host for major film and television productions, as well as large-scale exhibitions.
