New Restaurant Opens in Albany

Friday, April 28th was a great moment for the City of Albany. A new restaurant, The Hungry Hollow, opened its doors on 203 Sheridan Avenue.  The Chamber along with Ambassadors, Elected officials and the staff held a ribbon cutting to commemorate the moment.  The Hungry Hollow is a family-owned restaurant serving breakfast and lunch in the heart of Sheridan Hollow, an emerging neighborhood in Albany, NY.  John Baideme and Janet Rothacker, retired state employees, are realizing their dream of opening a restaurant with their son, Chris, and daughter, Lauren.  The Hungry Hollow is proud to be the first new business establishment in this vibrant, diverse neighborhood with increased affordable homeownership opportunities and new commercial and retail investments.  The Chamber congratulates John and Janet and wishes them the best in this new endeavor.
