New Member of the Trinity Team

Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region is pleased to announce and welcome Addy Waldie, CMP as the new Director of Development & Marketing. Ms. Waldie will work closely with the CEO and Board of Directors with the support of staff, volunteers and interns to enhance and support the overall mission of the organization, setting the strategy and managing the organization’s development activities and giving programs to maximize our impact on the community.

Ms. Waldie is a Certified Meeting Professional, experienced in strategic relationship building, fundraising, and event production with more than 20 years creating successful partnerships for non-profit organizations and associations. Ms. Waldie comes to Trinity Alliance after years of instructing at SUNY Schenectady as an adjunct for the Hotel, Culinary Arts and Tourism department. Along with being a National Account Manager for Experient- A Martiz Travel Company, a meeting and event management company that is a leader in the industry.

Speaking of her new assignment Waldie said “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join the outstanding team at Trinity Alliance. I have two major passions: empowering people and building better communities. I am fortunate to have chosen a career path that allows me to raise funds and awareness for both.”

Ms. Waldie’s previous work experience in the Capital Region includes the Capital Region Chamber, where she was the business council manager and worked with volunteer leaders to produce educational content for membership and the region; Saratoga National Golf Club, as a team leader in client event services, marketing and member relations and Special Olympics of New York as a member of the development team.

Along with her professional development, Ms. Waldie has served the community though volunteer leadership roles including Chapter President and VP of Finance for Meeting Professionals International Upstate NY, in leadership roles for Saratoga County Historical Society at Brookside, ESSAE (Empire State Society of Association Executives) and numerous committees for non-profit fundraising and outreach programs along with community development and planning.
