June 5, 2017A New Concept in Therapeutic Healing Opens It’s Doors in Colonie
The Salt Den Therapeutic and Wellness Center held it’s official grand opening on Thursday, June 1st at it’s new location 654 Watervliet Shaker Road. Chamber Ambassadors, local elected officials, staff, family and friends were all in attendance. Robert Duff, owner and operator, is a visionary and a leader with over 21 years of experience in Navy Medicine as a Chief Petty Officer providing care to Wounded Warriors, Veterans and their families. He is a well-educated person with several degrees in business management, sports and emergency medicine. Robert submitted his business plan to the 2016 Veteran Conference where he won first place and networked with several entrepreneurs. The Salt Den is the Capital Districts first Himalayan Salt Cave providing Halotherapy, which aids in respiratory conditions like sinusitis, bronchitis, COPD and cystic fibrosis along with skin disorders like eczema and psoriasis.
