NBT Bank Welcomes David Ensminger as Director of Business Banking Sales

NBT Bank announced that David Ensminger has joined the company as Director of Business Banking Sales.

In this role, Ensminger will lead the strategic direction and performance of NBT’s Business Banking team across the bank’s footprint. He will provide leadership and coaching and will work closely with the team to deliver a consistent, relationship‑focused client experience. Ensminger brings more than two decades of financial services experience to NBT Bank.

Most recently, he served as Business Banking Regional Manager at M&T Bank, where he oversaw lending activities for a team of relationship managers, set regional strategy, and managed performance and risk. His background also includes senior leadership roles in middle market banking, special assets loan workout and retail banking, where he led large teams, managed complex portfolios and supported acquisition‑driven growth. Ensminger holds a bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo.
