Murray Named CIO at Center for Disability Services

David Murray has been appointed Chief Information Officer at the Center for Disability Services in Albany. Murray is responsible for the oversight of all of the agency’s technology and information business functions. This includes leading the development of the Center’s evolving IT strategy, its successful implementation, and management of IT operational functions such as phones, network, email, help desk, IT security and the data center.

Prior to his current position, he was the Director of IT Applications at the Golub Corporation in Schenectady, where he oversaw all corporate office applications in the areas of Merchandising, HR/Payroll and Finance. Murray spent 25 years with the Golub Corporation before joining the team at the Center for Disability Services.

Murray received his Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems from SUNY Cobleskill, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Information Systems from SUNY Albany.

He lives in Latham with his wife, Alisa, and their son.
