July 11, 2025M&T Bank Center to Feature Hometown Cooking by the Mallozzi Family
The new M&T Bank Center at Mohawk Harbor in Schenectady will feature catering by the Mallozzi Family bringing hometown cooking to the new sports and entertainment venue located on the shores of the Mohawk River.
“We are pleased to announce that our dedicated team of employees will handle food, beverage and catering services at the M&T Bank Center,” said Joey Mallozzi, President of a new venture by the well-respected family business called Victory Concessions. “From the concession stands to catering events and parties, we aim to bring a quality product and superior service to the M&T Bank Center.”
Victory Concessions will also provide catering services to the private suites at the facility, all of which have been pre-leased.
The new Event Center is home to Union College’s Division I men’s and women’s hockey programs. The venue will also feature entertainment, meetings, conferences, concerts and other activities as well.
The facility is owned by the Galesi Group and is part of the $650 million waterfront destination called Mohawk Harbor in Schenectady, N.Y., which features three hotels, Rivers Casino & Resort, apartments, condos, tech office space, bike paths, a marina and almost a mile of waterfront.
The Galesi Group is the largest real estate developer in the Capital Region with more than 11 million square feet of office and industrial space. The company also has major real estate holdings in Texas and California.
The Mallozzi Family operates Villa Italia and Johnny’s Restaurant in Schenectady. They also operate the food service at Rivers Casino, which is supported by a major commissary operation at the Rotterdam Corporate Park.
The first public event at the M&T Bank Center will be held on September 6th featuring a concert by award-winning country star Lee Brice and tickets are available at mandtbankcenter.com.
