August 11, 2020Monaco Cooper Lamme & Carr, PLLC Expands New Law Firm
Monaco Cooper Lamme & Carr, PLLC is proud to announce the addition of noted litigator, Claudia A. Ryan, and attorney Caitlin A. Goetz to the firm.
Claudia A. Ryan has joined the firm as Senior Counsel. Over the last several decades, Ms. Ryan has enjoyed a high-profile career focused on the representation of municipalities, school districts, automobile dealerships, and private employers. She was the founder of two law firms that were NYS Women’s Owned Businesses, most recently as a partner at Towne, Ryan & Partners, P.C.
Also joining Monaco Cooper Lamme & Carr, PLLC is Caitlin A. Goetz. Ms. Goetz represents municipalities, school districts and employers in actions involving alleged police misconduct and violation of civil rights, and labor and employment claims involving claims of harassment and discrimination.
Aside from adding Ms. Ryan and Ms. Goetz, the firm has hired five legal support staff and expanded its physical office space since its formation six months ago, almost doubling its size in both employees and footprint.
“The addition of Claudia and Caitlin reflects our strategic growth plan that directly benefits our clients through depth of services and experience,” said founding partner, Adam H. Cooper. “While many law firms have had layoffs, reductions in staff, and pay cuts since March during COVID-19, we have been able to grow and strengthen our firm in a thoughtful way. We are not growing for the sake of growth. When we opened MCLC, we agreed to operate a more precise and focused firm to deliver heightened value to our clients, and we have done that with this expansion. We are delighted to welcome Claudia, Caitlin and all of our new staff to the team.”
“I am particularly proud that we have stayed centered on the importance of strong women in the law” added founding partner Mackenzie C. Monaco. “We are running a law firm with nearly 60% women lawyers – that far exceeds the state and national average. Claudia has been a strong women’s advocate for decades and we are privileged to have her join us.”
