Mohawk Honda — a fourth generation, family-owned Honda dealership — has been named a 2020 Automotive News Best Dealership To Work For, ranking in the top 100 dealerships nationwide. The survey-driven recognition program is dedicated to finding the best employers in the nation’s retail automobile industry.
To be eligible, a dealership must be a new car dealership, have at least 25 employees, been in business for more than one year, and must apply as a single rooftop dealership.
Mohawk Honda passed the assessment process, which involved the Best Companies Group conducting a thorough company review designed to gather detailed information about the workplace. Employers had to complete an in-depth questionnaire, and employees had the opportunity to offer feedback by taking part in a company-wide survey.
Once both portions of the assessment were complete, the Best Companies Group analyzed the data to determine if the dealership had what it takes to be the “best.”
“Automotive News is regarded as the newspaper of record for the automotive industry, so to be recognized as a best dealership to work for is an incredible honor,” said Jeff Haraden, president of Mohawk Honda. “And it goes without saying, but to receive this honor is a reflection of the great team we have in place at Mohawk Honda to service our home of the Capital Region.”

Mohawk Honda was one of three New York State dealers recognized.
