November 19, 2015Mohawk Ambulance Service Welcomes New Human Resources Manager
Mohawk Ambulance Service is pleased to announce the hiring of Danielle Hartwig as Human Resource Manager. In this position, she is responsible for all human resource functions within Mohawk Ambulance Services. She will work closely with company leaders in employee recruitment and retention, benefits and compensation, records management, policy development and legal compliance.
With more than seven years of human resource management experience, Hartwig joins Mohawk Ambulance from Cobleskill Regional Hospital where she served as HR generalist. Prior to that, she spent nearly six years at Albany’s Center for Disability Services, joining the nonprofit as an HR associate and was promoted several times to her final position as HR manager. Hartwig brings experience in employee recruitment and retention, staff development, conflict resolution, benefits and compensation, HR records management, HR policies development, legal compliance, and more to her new role.

Hartwig earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University at Albany and a master’s degree in human resources from Excelsior College in Albany, N.Y. She is affiliated with Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and holds a SHRM-Certified Professional certificate and a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certificate.
