March 12, 2020miSci to Host Week-long Educational Program During April School Recess
miSci and its Department of Education will be offering educational programming April 13 through April 17, during the April school recess. The theme for this year’s program is Science of the Earth.
Science of the Earth is a full week of classes and experiences for children in grades K-5. They will learn about the ground we stand on, how it moves, and how we study it. They will discover the science of planetary life and explore water and why it’s essential. Participants will have the opportunity to become a meteorologist and learn about some of nature’s most powerful forces. Discussions and workshops on renewable energy and potential next steps for humankind will also be available.
“miSci is proud to offer students in the Capital Region life-changing experiences with science!’ said Tyler Kellogg, VP of Education. ‘Our break week programming is 100% original and unique.’
Registration is open, and spaces are filling up quickly. To register, please visit http://bit.ly/miSci_ScienceOfTheEarth.
