August 8, 2019miSci to Host “Sci-fi @ miSci” Family Day on Saturday, August 10
- A miSci Family Day event, with hands-on activities and interactive STEAM learning for all ages
- Dress as your favorite science fiction characters
- Meet and interact with Star Wars cosplayers from the 501st Legion (Vader’s Fist), the Rebel Legion, and the R2-D2 Builders Club
- Make slime with The Hudson Valley Ghostbusters
- Take photos with Marty McFly, Doc Brown, and a DeLorean DMC just like in Back to the Future
- See an exclusive Star Wars-themed live planetarium star show, created and available for this event only
- Participate in science fiction-themed science demonstrations and interactive activities presented by miSci’s Science Communicators
- Purchase food and drink at food trucks from Slidin’ Dirty and Kona Ice
- Enjoy easy parking and shuttle service to miSci on the Electric City Trolley, driven by CDTA
miSci is located at 15 Nott Terrace Heights in Schenectady. miSci Family Day events are presented for the price of regular miSci General Admission: miSci Members: $6 (50% discount); Seniors (65+) $10.00; Adults $12.00. Special Shows and Planetarium Shows are an additional $6.00 per person, per show. Food and drink will be available at an additional cost.
