Mireille Cadogan, Owner of MiMi’s Elegance Boutique is celebrating one year in business. Says Cadogan, “I’ve only just begun…not even one year old, but I remain committed and excited about making a difference in the community” Cadogan goes on to say that “I am very excited to announce and reveal MiMi’s Elegance customized private line of designer fashion formal, classy and elegant wear for women of all sizes. I have added a private bridal line to include the entire bridal party and accessories for the bride to be. We are currently serving all the cities and counties within a sixty-mile radius.”
Cohoes Mayor, Honorary Shawn Morse, and other elected City and County officials, have all shown great support for Mimi’s Elegance, including the Capital Region Chamber. Ms. Cadogan is a former graduate of the Entrepreneurial Boot Camp Program who says “I have been encouraged and motivated by the level of support and my vision to making a difference not only in my products and services, but mostly a great appetite to making a difference in this community. It is breathtaking to be part of this phenomenal revival that is currently going on in the City of Cohoes and to know that I was a pioneer of this much-needed revitalization.”
In addition to the private line, MiMi’s Elegance, the store will carry two other classy and beautiful designs by two well established international and global designers, Donna H. Hercules, President of DCK Royale of Saratoga County who offers timeless, exquisite pieces for the fashion-forward little princess; sized infant to ten.
The second designer is Luna Joachim of L’Accent Women’s Fashion, LLC of Malden, MA. Ms. Luna Joachim has captivated the elegant era of our forever elegant and classy former beloved First Lady, Jackie Kennedy and Princess Diana along with the modern era touch beautifully and graciously complimenting every woman along with the most beautiful accessories. Her fashion brings spark in NY City and in England.
Customers and visitors have provided positive feedback on Mimi’s Elegance. Says one patron, “Incredible /selection of amazing dresses-from casual to runway! Customer Service was above and beyond…Top notch. Can’t wait to go back for Custom Design Services.” Another customer noted, “It is so beautiful and you have brought much class to Cohoes.” Everyone, including the Cohoes Police Officers, are stopping by to say what a difference Mimi’s Elegance has made in the community.
MiMi’s Elgance is also excited to announce a special guest appearance from Broadway star, Jeannette Bayardelle, former lead star “Celie” from the Tony Award Winner The Color Purple. Ms. Jeannette Bayardelle from The Bronx to NY and Beyond, is currently on-tour enjoying performing in the current Disney Play “Freaky Friday”. She has starred in many others such as Sister Act, Hair, etc.
There is also a special selection of a beautiful, talented, artistic belly dance group performance and the lovely and talented Laura Laz, CEO at ChefKey. Proceeds of this evening will be donated to The American Cancer Society represented by Laura Laz, who is also affiliated with The Pepper Challenge, Bite for The Fight, designed to create awareness, and raise donations to help end the fight against cancer. Additional benefactor, will be New Birth Christian Fellowship Center at 45 Colvin Ave. Albany, NY to expand the Ministry with two effective leaders Dr. Pastor Paul Parsons, Sr. and First Lady, Marva Parsons currently presiding over the Church, where anyone can be free. A place where lives and souls are being saved every day! It is clearly a hospital for the soul.
